


Born the eldest daughter of the 5th Earl of Leicester on 16th July 1932, Anne Veronica Coke was a regular playmate of young Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret, neighbours at nearby Sandringham House.Ībout her new book ‘Whatever Next?’, Lady Glenconner says: “I decided to write this book as I have had so much correspondence from readers and people who have seen me on television – all encouraging me to write more. Holkham has a rich and magnificent history and for Lady Glenconner it has touched every aspect of her life. The event will finish with a Q&A session and additional copies of the book will also be available to purchase at the event.

On arrival to Holkham, guests are invited to the Lady Elizabeth Wing to enjoy a glass of prosecco or a soft drink before taking their seats where an insight into the novel and more in-depth look at Lady Glenconner’s private life will be revealed. Joined by ITV News Anglia’s David Whiteley, Lady Glenconner will be reflecting on and revealing more about her long and unexpected life, her turbulent and difficult marriage and the lessons learned. Lady Glenconner, best-selling author of ‘Lady in Waiting’, ‘Murder on Mustique’ and ‘A Haunting at Holkham’ will be back at Holkham Hall this Christmas to celebrate the launch of her latest book, ‘Whatever Next?’.
